Enclosed cork bulletin board

This Quartet enclosed bulletin board provides a 4-foot by 6-foot natural cork surface for posting notices. The board features three independently locking doors with shatter-resistant acrylic windows to protect documents from tampering. A high-density fiberboard backing adds stability, while the anodized aluminum frame gives a professional appearance.

Offices and shared spaces needing secure display

The key-locked doors suit environments where only authorised staff should update posted information. Vertical mounting allows installation on standard walls. Buyers who require a magnetic or fabric surface, or who need an open-frame board without doors, should consider other options.

Self-healing cork surface

Pin holes close up over time, keeping the board looking clean after repeated use. This feature extends the useful life of the natural cork in high-traffic areas. The 20-year manufacturer limited warranty backs the durability of the surface.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 72 x 48 bulletin board vertically, and what step is often missed?

Use the pre-drilled holes in the aluminum frame to secure the board to wall studs with appropriate screws; the step often missed is confirming the wall can support the full 4'H x 6'W weight before hanging.

What maintenance or replacement will the cork surface need over time?

The self-healing natural cork surface resists pin holes and requires no routine replacement; simply clean with a dry cloth and avoid moisture to maintain tack-holding performance for the 20-year warranty period.

What limit appears first when the board is used continuously in a busy hallway?

The three independently locking doors and key lock mechanism are the first components to show wear under heavy daily use; lubricate the lock cylinders periodically to maintain smooth operation.
