Desk-Ready Glass Writing Surface

The Quartet GDP186B is a black glass dry-erase board sized for desktop use. It provides a smooth area for quick notes, reminders or brainstorming sessions right beside your keyboard. The tempered glass resists scratches and dents from daily handling. Its non-porous surface prevents ghosting and staining so writing stays legible over time.

No Installation Required

Simply place the board on any flat desk surface and start writing with standard dry-erase markers. There are no mounting brackets, adhesive strips or hardware to fit. The only common issue is using permanent markers or abrasive cleaners, which can leave marks that are difficult to remove. A soft cloth and standard glass cleaner keep the surface clear.

Check Desk Space and Marker Type

Verify that your desk has a clear rectangular area at least 6 inches wide by 18 inches high to accommodate the pad. Ensure you have dry-erase markers rather than permanent ink, as the latter will not erase cleanly from the glass. The board sits flat without feet, so a stable, level surface is needed to prevent sliding during use.

Questions about this item

How can I tell the glass surface is erasing cleanly after I set it up?

Write a test line, wait a few seconds, then erase with a dry cloth — the black glass should show no ghosting or streaks, confirming the surface resists stains as designed.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The package contains the 6" x 18" black glass board; dry-erase markers and an eraser are not included and must be bought separately.

Which version should I choose for a compact desktop workspace?

The single GDP186B model measures .5 ft wide by 1.5 ft high, making it the only size offered for a narrow horizontal desktop pad.
