Magnetic dry-erase surface

The Quartet SM531B provides a 24 x 18 inch magnetic whiteboard with a Nano-Clean coating that resists staining and ghosting. It is designed for moderate daily use in offices, classrooms or home workspaces. The surface accepts dry-erase markers and holds magnets for posting notes or reference pages.

Moderate-use environments

This board suits individuals and small teams who need a reliable writing surface for brainstorming, scheduling or quick reminders. It is not intended for heavy continuous use in high-traffic collaborative areas where a more robust commercial-grade board would be required.

Nano-Clean stain-resistant coating

The proprietary nano-technology surface prevents ink from penetrating the board, so marks wipe away cleanly without leaving ghost images. This single feature determines whether the board will stay readable over months of regular erasing.

Questions about this item

Does the board include any magnets for posting documents?

The magnetic surface holds standard office magnets so you can attach papers immediately; no magnets are bundled with the board.

Can the 24 x 18 board be mounted with the same hardware used for smaller Quartet boards?

Yes, the included wall-mount kit works with the pre-drilled frame on this size, so existing Quartet mounting screws can be reused.

How do I confirm the Nano-Clean coating is performing correctly after the first week?

Write with a dry-erase marker, wait a few seconds, then wipe — if no ghosting or stain remains, the surface is working as designed.
