Grey Gaming Chair with 180° Recline

The Raidmax DK905GY is a grey PU leather gaming chair built on a metal frame with full moulded foam padding. It supports users up to 200 lb and includes adjustable head and lumbar pillows. Three-direction adjustable armrests and a retractable footrest let you shift posture during long sessions. The chair weighs 47.3 pounds and measures 12.6"D x 25.5"W x 32.6"H overall.

Upgrade from Fixed-Position Office Seating

This model replaces chairs that lock at 90° or offer only limited tilt. The backrest reclines to 180° and the tilt mechanism rocks up to 25° or locks upright. A BIFMA certified class 4 gas lift and steel frame are rated for 330 lbs structural capacity. The jump is worth it when you need a flat recline for rest periods and a rocking motion for active sitting.

Limits of the 5-Caster Base and Fixed Dimensions

Five 60mm PU casters provide 360° swivel on hard floors and low-pile carpet, but mobility drops on thick rugs or uneven surfaces. The seat width and waist width are both 54.5 cm with a shoulder width of 55.5 cm, so broader users may find the side bolsters restrictive. Total height reaches 82.5 cm at the backrest, requiring sufficient vertical clearance.

Questions about this item

How much floor space do the 25.5" width and 12.6" depth need?

The chair footprint is 25.5 inches wide by 12.6 inches deep; allow extra clearance for the 360-degree swivel and the five 60mm casters to roll freely.

Which bolts secure the BIFNA certified class 4 gas lift to the metal base during assembly?

Attach the gas lift cylinder into the centre hole of the five-star metal base, then lower the seat assembly onto the cylinder until it locks; the most common error is not seating the cylinder fully before adding weight.

When should the 60mm PU casters be inspected or replaced?

Check the five casters every few months for hair build-up, flat spots or wobble; replace any wheel that no longer rolls smoothly to keep the 200 lb capacity stable.
