Raritan D2CIM-DVUSB-HDMI KVM Extender

The Raritan D2CIM-DVUSB-HDMI is a Dominion KX II Computer Interface Module designed for KVM switching environments. It connects a target computer to a Dominion KX II KVM switch, providing keyboard, video and mouse extension over CAT5 cabling. This module suits administrators managing servers or workstations from a central console in data centres or server rooms. It is not for users needing a standalone KVM switch without a compatible Dominion KX II appliance.

Sustained Operation Over CAT5

The module transmits video, USB keyboard and mouse signals continuously across a single CAT5 cable to the KX II switch. It draws power from the attached computer's USB port, so no external power supply is required during extended sessions. Signal integrity is maintained for the duration of the management session without degradation from the module itself. Distance limits and maximum resolution depend on the KX II switch specifications and cable quality, which are not defined here.
