What NORCO delivers

NORCO is a text-based point-and-click adventure set in a surreal, distorted vision of South Louisiana. Players follow a fugitive security android through refineries, strip malls and drainage ditches while searching for a missing brother after their mother's death. The game blends Southern Gothic narrative with cinematic pixel art and an electronic score. It is aimed at fans of narrative-driven exploration and atmospheric storytelling.

Platform and activation method

The product is a Steam Online Game Code for PC, delivered as a downloadable licence. Activation requires a Steam account and is restricted to select countries; the blocked region list includes numerous territories across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Buyers must verify eligibility before purchase because the code will not redeem in excluded regions.

Minimum system requirements

The game runs on Windows 7 with an Intel i5 or AMD equivalent processor, 4 GB of RAM and Intel Iris or AMD Vega 8 graphics. These modest specifications mean the title will operate on a wide range of older and integrated hardware without demanding a discrete GPU. Performance scales with available resources but the baseline is deliberately low to maximise accessibility.

Questions about this item

What does the March 24, 2022 release date mean for the version I receive today?

The code activates the current Steam build, which includes all updates and patches released since the original launch.

How does Steam DRM affect installing NORCO on multiple PCs?

You can install the game on any computer where you sign into your Steam account, but only one session can run at a time.

Will the downloadable code work on a laptop with only integrated Intel Iris or AMD Vega 8 graphics?

Yes, the minimum specification lists those integrated GPUs as sufficient, so the game will run on such hardware.
