Two-Point Lap Belts for Two Seats

This pack supplies two retractable lap belts built from black polyester webbing. Each unit bolts to a pair of mounting points using the supplied hardware. The belts adjust from a minimum of 88 centimetres to a maximum of 125 centimetres to fit a range of occupants.

Vehicles with two-bolt anchorages only

The belts suit cars, buses or industrial machines that provide exactly two bolt holes per seating position. They do not fit three-point anchorages, ISOFIX child-seat bases or any seat that requires a shoulder strap. Buyers needing upper-body restraint should look elsewhere.

Adjustable length range 88 to 125 centimetres

The single specification that decides fit is the webbing travel between its shortest setting of 88 centimetres and its longest of 125 centimetres. Measure the occupant and the seat geometry before ordering; if the required length falls outside this window the belts will not work.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 2-point lap belt and which step is commonly missed?

Bolt the belt to the vehicle's two factory mounting points using the supplied hardware; the bolt diameter is 1.1cm/0.43". The step often missed is torquing the bolts to the vehicle manufacturer's specification after installation.

What maintenance or replacement will this belt need over time?

Inspect the polyester webbing regularly for cuts, fraying or UV damage and check the retractor mechanism for smooth operation; replace the complete belt assembly if any wear or damage is found.

What length limit will I hit first when adjusting the belt for larger occupants?

The longest adjusted length is 125cm/49.3", so occupants needing a lap measurement beyond that cannot be accommodated by this belt.
