Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

It fits the HP Stream 11, 13 and 14 series, EliteBook Folio 1040 G1, Split 13 x2, Spectre x2, Pavilion x2 and TouchSmart 15-n models listed in the compatibility data. Buyers who need a different tip diameter, a higher wattage output or a connector for a non-HP laptop should choose another adapter.

Deciding specification: 4.5 mm three-prong tip

The 4.5 mm by 3.0 mm three-prong barrel connector is the single detail that determines whether this charger will mate with the target laptop. If the original charger uses the same tip size and the voltage and current ratings match, this unit will power the device.
