Razer BlackWidow V4 X Full-Size Mechanical

The Razer BlackWidow V4 X is a full-size mechanical gaming keyboard built around Razer Yellow Mechanical Linear Switches. It connects via USB 2.0 and features a 5052 aluminum alloy top case with PCB foam and lubricated stabilizers. Doubleshot ABS keycaps and per-key Razer Chroma RGB lighting with 16.8 million colours complete the specification.

Six Dedicated Macro Keys and Media Controls

Six dedicated macro keys sit on the left edge for instant command access. A multi-function roller and secondary media keys handle playback, volume and brightness without leaving the game. Buyers who prefer clicky tactile feedback or a tenkeyless layout should look at other models.

Yellow Linear Switches at 1.2 mm Actuation

The Yellow switches actuate at 1.2 mm with 45 g of force and include built-in sound dampeners for quiet, rapid-fire input. This short actuation distance defines the keyboard's speed and feel.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a wrist rest separately?

The keyboard ships with a USB 2.0 cable and keycap puller; no palm rest is included so one must be purchased separately if desired.

Should I choose the Yellow linear switch or the Green clicky switch for this model?

This unit uses Yellow linear switches with 1.2 mm actuation and 45 g force for quiet rapid input; the Green clicky variant is a different SKU.

What does the 16.8 million colour Chroma RGB figure mean in daily use?

Each key can be set to any of 16.8 million colours via Razer Synapse, enabling per-key lighting effects and game-integrated reactive lighting.
