Razer Kraken V4 X Wired Headset

The Razer Kraken V4 X is a wired gaming headset built around 40 mm TriForce drivers and a retractable HyperClear cardioid microphone. It connects through a detachable USB-C cable that includes a USB-A adapter, offering 7.1 surround sound on supported platforms. Chroma RGB lighting adds customisable illumination that synchronises with compatible games and software.

Gamers wanting USB audio with a detachable boom mic

This headset suits players who prefer a single wired connection across PC, Mac, PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam Deck and smartphones via the convertible cable. The memory-foam cushions and 1.46 lb weight aim to keep long sessions comfortable. Buyers who need a wireless connection or a separate analogue jack should look elsewhere. The fixed 5.91 ft cable length may not reach distant setups without an extension.

USB-C connection with convertible USB-A adapter

The headset terminates in a USB-C plug and ships with a USB-A adapter, so it plugs directly into modern and legacy ports without an extra dongle. This single interface carries both audio and microphone signals, enabling the 7.1 surround processing and Chroma lighting control through Razer software on supported devices.
