Kraken Kitty V2 Quartz Pink identity

The Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Quartz Pink is a wired USB gaming headset designed for streamers and content creators who want a distinctive on-camera presence. Its signature kitty-ear silhouette and Quartz Pink finish make it instantly recognisable during live broadcasts and video calls.

Streaming reactive lighting behaviour

The headset features ear and earcup lighting that reacts in real time to emotes, alerts and other stream events, drawing from a palette of 16.8 million colours and numerous effects. This responsive illumination runs continuously over USB power without a separate battery, so the visual feedback stays consistent throughout long sessions.

Build and daily mounting

A lightweight frame with plush ear cushions keeps the headset comfortable for extended wear while the fixed kitty ears remain securely attached. The single USB connection carries both audio and lighting data, reducing cable clutter and simplifying the setup on any desk or streaming station.

Questions about this item

Does the USB-powered Kraken Kitty V2 run hot or make fan noise during all-day streaming sessions?

The headset draws power from the USB connection and has no active cooling, so it stays silent and does not generate noticeable heat during extended use.

What port must my PC or console already have for the Quartz Pink Kraken Kitty V2 to work?

A single free USB-A port is required; the headset uses a fixed USB cable and needs no separate audio jack or power adapter.

Will the 16.8-million-colour RGB lighting on this headset still function if I keep my older USB 2.0 hub?

Yes, the lighting and audio run over standard USB power and data, so they work on legacy USB 2.0 ports without extra drivers.
