54 g Ultra-Lightweight Esports Mouse

The Razer Viper V3 Pro is a 54 g wireless gaming mouse built for competitive play. Its symmetrical shape suits right-handed users who favour a lightweight grip. The Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor Gen-2 delivers 35000 DPI with 1-DPI step adjustments. Eight programmable buttons and Gen-3 optical switches rated for 90 million clicks complete the package.

Upgrade From Heavier Or Lower-Polling Mice

Moving to this model makes sense when your current mouse weighs noticeably more than 54 g or polls below 8000 Hz. The HyperSpeed Wireless dongle combined with true 8000 Hz HyperPolling cuts wireless latency to a level wired rivals struggle to match. Gen-3 switches remove debounce delay and double-click issues found on older mechanical designs. The 95-hour battery life covers extended tournament schedules without mid-session charging.

Check USB Port And Software Requirements

Verify your system has an available USB Type-A port for the included HyperPolling Wireless Dongle. The mouse charges via USB Type-C so a second port or a USB-C cable is needed for wired top-ups. Windows XP is listed as the baseline OS; newer Windows versions are supported through Razer Synapse for DPI, polling-rate and lift-off-distance profiles. Onboard memory stores the last Synapse profile for driver-free use on other machines.

Questions about this item

What USB port does the Viper V3 Pro dongle need?

The mouse connects through a USB Type-C dongle that plugs into any standard USB port on the computer.

How do I pair the mouse with the HyperSpeed dongle, and what step do users often miss?

Plug the dongle in, open Razer Synapse, and register the device; the step many miss is enabling 8000 Hz polling in the software after pairing.

When will the PTFE feet or switches need replacement?

The Gen-3 optical switches are rated for 90 million clicks, and the larger PTFE feet are designed to last the usable life of the mouse under normal gaming use.
