RC CellMeter 8 Battery Checker

The RC CellMeter 8 is a handheld voltage tester for lithium and nickel battery packs used in drones, cars and other radio-controlled models. It reads individual cell voltages and total pack voltage for LiPo, LiFe, Li-ion, NiCd and NiMH chemistries from 2S up to 8S. The unit also functions as a servo tester with selectable pulse ranges of 1000-2000us or 500-2500us. Precision is rated at 0.001V on a backlit LCD.

Sustained Load Behaviour

During continuous discharge the checker draws a steady 1A balance current and 1A discharge current through its internal circuitry. The display updates in real time so the user can watch the voltage gap between the highest and lowest cells widen or narrow under load. No external power source is required; the device is powered directly from the balance plug of the pack under test. Backlight remains active throughout the session for low-light pits.

Upgrade From Basic Voltage Meters

This replaces single-function voltmeters that only show total pack voltage or lack a backlit screen. The jump is worth it when you need per-cell data, voltage-difference tracking and servo-test capability in one pocket-sized tool. It does not suit users who require high-amperage discharge cycling or integrated charging functions.
