Cellular Connectivity & Power

The RECOTAC SYRA0001-BN-US is a cellular trail camera built for outdoor wildlife monitoring and property security. It uses a preinstalled SIM that automatically selects the strongest signal among major carriers, removing the need for Wi-Fi. The unit runs on eight AA batteries or an optional solar panel for extended field deployment.

Storage & Media Handling

Images are captured at 32MP and video records at 1296p in MP4 format. AI upscale processing via the mobile app enhances photo detail after capture. Media saves to an SD card up to 512GB or to cloud storage with a 30-day trial before subscription. This replaces cameras limited to local-only storage or lower resolution sensors.

Night Vision & Trigger Performance

Fifty-four 940nm no-glow IR LEDs provide illumination to 100 feet without visible light that disturbs animals. The IP66-rated enclosure withstands rain and dust during continuous outdoor exposure. Motion activation triggers in 0.2 seconds, capturing events the moment they enter the detection zone.

What steps activate the cellular connection on the SYRA0001-BN-US?

Power the camera with eight AA batteries or a solar panel, insert a micro-SD card up to 512 GB, then follow the Android or iOS app prompts to register the pre-installed multi-carrier SIM.
