Recycled White T-Shirt Rags 10 lbs

These recycled white T-shirt cleaning rags arrive in a 10 lb bag with each piece measuring 18 by 18 inches. They are designed for automotive exterior care and general shop use. The cotton material absorbs oil, stain, grease and paint effectively.

Cotton absorbency limits for heavy fluids

Cotton fibres soak up liquids well but saturate quickly when used on large spills or thick grease. Once saturated, the rag stops absorbing and can smear residue across the surface. Users must swap to a dry piece frequently to maintain cleaning efficiency.

Check lint tolerance and chemical compatibility

Verify that lint from cotton fibres will not contaminate sensitive paint finishes or precision parts. Confirm that any solvents or cleaners you plan to use do not degrade cotton or leave unwanted residue on the workpiece.

Questions about this item

What does the 10 lb bag size mean for how long the rags will last in a busy shop?

The 10 lb bag supplies a high volume of 18x18 inch cotton rags, so heavy daily use for oil, grease, paint or stain cleanup can continue for weeks before reordering.

How does the recycled cotton material perform when soaking up oil or solvent spills on a concrete floor?

The recycled white t-shirt cotton is designed for superior absorbency, pulling oil, grease and solvents off surfaces quickly without leaving lint behind.

Are the pre-cut 18x18 inch dimensions a standard size that fits common rag dispensers or storage bins?

Each rag measures 18 by 18 inches with a 0.2 inch thickness, a practical square that stacks neatly in bins and works with most shop dispensers.
