Direct-acting cryogenic valve

The Red Hat 8263H206LT is a normally closed 2-way solenoid valve built for controlling air, inert gases, light oil and water. Its brass body and PTFE seals handle fluid temperatures up to 150°F and ambient conditions from -13°F to 131°F. The valve mounts horizontally or vertically on 3/8 in NPTF threads. It suits process lines needing reliable on-off control in low-temperature service.

Watertight coil with 18 in leads

A 120V AC 60 Hz coil consuming 17.1 W is included and housed in a watertight enclosure without a junction box. The 1/2 in conduit connection and 18 in leads simplify wiring in panels or junction boxes. No separate coil purchase is required. The direct-acting design operates from zero pressure differential up to the rated limits.

Pressure and temperature boundaries

Maximum operating pressure differential is 90 psi for air and inert gases and 100 psi for cryogenic fluids. The 7/32 in orifice sets the flow capacity for the intended media. Ambient temperatures below -13°F or above 131°F fall outside the validated range. Fluid temperatures above 150°F are not supported by the PTFE seals.
