Complete solenoid valve rebuild kit includes cap retaining clip, core assembly, diaphragm, O-rings, retainer spring, solenoid base sub-assembly
The ASCO 302329 kit provides all internal components required to overhaul compatible Emerson solenoid valves. It targets maintenance technicians and plant engineers who need to restore original sealing and actuation performance without replacing the full valve body. The kit suits scheduled preventative maintenance or emergency repairs on supported 8210 series models.
This rebuild kit contains only passive sealing and mechanical parts such as diaphragms, O-rings, springs and the core assembly. It generates no heat, produces no acoustic signature and draws no electrical power during operation. Installed components simply enable the existing solenoid to control fluid flow as originally specified.
The package supplies a cap retaining clip, core assembly, diaphragm and seat, O-rings, retainer spring, solenoid base sub-assembly and compression spring. These parts are UL Listed and fit manufacturer models 8210G089 and EF8210G089 as well as Grainger part numbers 3UK25, 4EKP9, 5JC50, 5JC66 and 6DYN6. Buyers needing components for other valve series or non-Emerson brands cannot use this kit.

Remove the old solenoid base sub-assembly, then fit the new core assembly, diaphragm/seat, O-rings, retainer spring, spring compression, cap retaining clip, and retaining clip; the step often missed is seating the diaphragm/seat evenly before tightening the cap retaining clip to prevent leaks.
The O-rings, diaphragm/seat, and spring compression components will wear over time and require periodic inspection and replacement to maintain proper sealing and valve operation.
The diaphragm/seat and O-ring sealing surfaces degrade first during continuous cycling, leading to reduced sealing performance and potential leakage before other kit components fail.
