Setup and common issues

Insert an already-activated Nano SIM; the phone has dual Nano slots and no microSD tray. In the USA it only works on T-Mobile, Mint or Tello networks; outside the USA it accepts any GSM carrier. Charge via the USB Type-C port with the included 100 W adapter for full 100 W HyperCharge speed. A frequent issue is attempting to use a non-T-Mobile US SIM, which will not register on the network.

Compatibility checklist

Confirm your carrier operates on the listed 5G SA bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n26, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n71, n77, n78 and 5G NSA bands n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n71, n77, n78. Verify LTE FDD bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 18, 19 and LTE TDD bands 38, 40, 41, 42, 48 match your network. Ensure you have a Nano SIM ready and, for US buyers, an active T-Mobile-based plan before ordering.
