96% Wired Gaming Keyboard

The Redragon 96% Wired Gaming Keyboard is a compact 98-key membrane model with a number pad, 12 shortcut keys and 25 anti-ghosting keys. It targets gamers and office users who want a smaller footprint than a 104-key board without losing the numeric cluster. The creamy tactile switches deliver quiet operation suitable for shared spaces.

Membrane Tactile Switches

The single specification that decides fit is the membrane tactile switch type, which is not a mechanical keyboard. Buyers who want the distinct click and actuation force of mechanical switches should look elsewhere, as this board uses a quiet membrane design with a soft touch.

Plug-and-Play Installation

No driver is required; the keyboard works immediately over USB on Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP and Mac OS. A detachable 1.5 m USB-C cable eases storage and transport. Note that the rainbow backlight has no onboard memory, so lighting profiles reset to factory defaults after every restart.

Questions about this item

What does the 96% layout with 98 keys mean for desk space?

The 96% layout keeps the number pad and 12 shortcut keys in a frame smaller than a 104-key board, saving desk room while retaining full data-entry function.

How does the USB-C detachable cable affect daily use?

The 1.5 m USB-C cable plugs into the keyboard and separates for storage, giving a stable wired connection without driver installation on Windows or Mac.

Will the three-stage adjustable feet and membrane switches fit a low-profile typing style?

The three-stage feet raise the board to preferred heights, while the tactile membrane switches stay quiet and soft for extended office or gaming sessions.
