Three-mode connectivity

The Redragon M656 MAX is a wireless gaming mouse offering Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz nano-receiver options alongside wired operation. A stable connection is maintained up to 10 metres in wireless modes. This flexibility suits gamers who switch between desktop, laptop and mobile setups without changing peripherals.

Adjustable performance and macros

Five on-board DPI levels (400, 800, 1600, 2400, 4000) are selectable instantly, while companion software extends the range from 50 to 10000 and allows per-level tuning. Seven programmable buttons, including two side macros, can be remapped for complex commands in any application. The SG8925 sensor and four-level polling-rate adjustment work with a smart sleep mode to maximise battery life between charges.

Suited for multi-platform users.

Broad OS support covering Windows 98SE through Windows 11 and Mac 10.x makes the mouse a practical choice for mixed-environment households or offices. The feature set favours versatility and macro-heavy workflows over minimal weight or specialised sensor tuning, so competitive players seeking the lightest possible shell or highest-end polling rates should evaluate alternatives.

Questions about this item

How long will the SG8925 sensor and rechargeable battery last before I need to replace them?

The SG8925 sensor is built into the mouse and does not require replacement; the rechargeable battery is designed for extended use with smart ECO sleep mode to conserve power during intermittent sessions.

What limits sustained performance — sensor tracking or polling rate stability?

The SG8925 sensor supports adjustable polling rates across four levels and on-board DPI steps of 400, 800, 1600, 2400, and 4000, with software extending DPI up to 10000 for consistent tracking.

Does the mouse run hot or drain quickly when used all day over 2.4 GHz?

Smart ECO sleep mode reduces power draw during pauses, and the optimized SG8925 sensor keeps consumption low across four polling-rate levels for all-day wireless use.
