Rangefinder with slope and magnetic mount

This laser rangefinder measures distances from 5 to 1200 yards with 7x magnification. It includes a slope compensation switch, flag pole locking with vibration feedback, and six selectable measurement modes. A magnetic stripe allows quick attachment to a cart or clubs, and the IP54 rating protects against water splashes and dust. The unit weighs 1.10lb and charges via USB-C.

Golfers who need tournament-legal slope control

The slope switch makes the device legal for competition play, while the flag lock and vibration help confirm targets on the course. Hunters can also use the speed and scan modes for ranging moving game. Buyers who require Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in display of wind data, or a range beyond 1200 yards should look at other models.

1200 yard maximum range decides suitability

The 1200 yard ceiling sets the practical limit for tee shots, approach play and field spotting. If your typical shots stay well within that distance the rangefinder covers every scenario; if you regularly need readings past 1200 yards this unit will not reach them.

Questions about this item

What upkeep will the IP54 water-resistant body and USB-C rechargeable battery need over time?

Wipe the plastic housing clean after wet rounds and recharge the built-in battery via USB-C when the indicator shows low; no user-serviceable parts inside.

What stops me ranging farther than 1200 yards on a bright day?

The laser tops out at 1200 yards maximum range; beyond that the return signal is too weak for a reading.

How much heat or fan noise appears when I scan continuously for hours?

The rangefinder has no fan and draws little power, so it stays near ambient temperature and runs silently during extended use.
