Questions about this item

What does the 12Ah rating mean once the batteries are installed in my Altronix system?

Each 12V 12Ah battery delivers its rated capacity at the 20-hour discharge rate, so the pair will power the connected security load for the duration calculated by dividing total amp-hours by your system's actual current draw.

What interface do these batteries use and what does it limit in practice?

The kit uses standard F2 faston terminals; the connection caps the maximum current to what the terminal and wire gauge can safely carry, typically well above the alarm panel's normal demand.
