Standalone multiplayer expansion

Company of Heroes 2 The Western Front Armies is a downloadable Steam code that adds two full factions to the multiplayer roster. The product is new and activates on PC through Steam in the supported regions listed by the publisher. It requires no base-game purchase to enter online matches or skirmish modes.

US Forces and Oberkommando West factions

The bundle includes both the US Forces and Oberkommando West standalone armies, each with unique infantry, team weapons, vehicles, abilities and upgrades. A new progression system unlocks further tactical content across eight seasonal Western Front maps. Owners can also play against all existing Company of Heroes 2 factions in auto-match.

Multiplayer-only content with regional limits

The package delivers competitive and skirmish multiplayer gameplay but contains no single-player campaign. Activation is blocked in a large number of countries, so buyers outside the approved regions cannot redeem the code. Players seeking a story-driven experience or offline campaign modes will not find them here.

Questions about this item

Will I need to buy any further downloadable content to keep the Oberkommando West and US Forces factions playable?

No, the package already includes both the Oberkommando West and US Forces multiplayer standalones, so no extra purchases are required for those factions.

What is the first restriction I hit when trying to activate this code?

The Steam key cannot be activated in a long list of blocked countries and regions, so the geographic lock is the first limit you will encounter.

Does running the game all day increase fan noise or heat on my PC?

The downloadable code itself produces no noise, heat or power draw; only your hardware’s workload while the game runs affects those factors.
