Standalone Oberkommando West army

This downloadable PC game provides the Oberkommando West faction for Company of Heroes 2 multiplayer. It enables access to all existing COH2 maps in auto-match and allows play against every other faction. The product activates through Steam and carries an ESRB Mature rating. It is intended for players who want only this specific German army without purchasing the full base game or larger bundles.

Multiplayer matchmaking and skirmish access

Once activated, the army joins the standard COH2 matchmaking pool for ranked and unranked games against all factions. Skirmish modes against AI opponents are also available using the full map roster. No single-player campaign missions are included with this standalone release. The feature set is limited to competitive and cooperative multiplayer scenarios.

Digital delivery and regional restrictions

The Steam code is delivered electronically and requires an internet connection for activation and play. A long list of blocked countries and regions prevents redemption in those territories; buyers must verify eligibility before purchase. No physical media or additional software is supplied. Power draw, thermals and noise are not applicable to a digital licence.

Questions about this item

Does the Steam download consume noticeable power or generate heat while the match runs?

The Steam download itself uses negligible power and produces no measurable heat; any load comes from the game engine rendering the match on your CPU and GPU.

No, the product description states that buyers who do not yet own any COH2 product can activate this army and access all existing maps in auto-match.

Will this OKW army appear in multiplayer lobbies if I already have the original Company of Heroes 2 installed?

Yes, the Oberkommando West faction integrates with the existing COH2 installation and plays against all other factions on every current map.
