5MP Dual-Band Video Doorbell Pair

This two-pack supplies a pair of 5MP wired Wi-Fi doorbell cameras that capture 2K+ resolution video with HDR and 3D DNR processing. Each unit offers a 180° field of view and infrared night recording so visitors are clearly identifiable day or night. The cameras support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands for a stable wireless connection and include person detection with customisable motion zones to reduce unwanted alerts. Two-way audio lets you speak to callers from anywhere via the app.

Pre-Installation Checks

Verify that your existing doorbell wiring provides the required low-voltage power for a wired installation. Confirm your home router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi signal that reaches the mounting location. Ensure you have a standard indoor power socket available for the included wireless chime. Check that the 15° wedge kit will give the viewing angle you need for your specific door frame geometry.

Bundled Extras In Practice

The supplied wireless chime plugs into any mains socket and sounds locally when the doorbell is pressed, so you hear visitors even if your phone is silent. A 15° wedge bracket is included with each camera to tilt the 180° view up or down for optimal coverage of your entrance. Pre-recorded voice responses can be triggered automatically or manually, letting the doorbell answer for you when you are occupied. Person detection and motion-zone settings fine-tune which events generate notifications.

Questions about this item

Does the 2-pack include the chime and wedge kit, or must they be purchased separately?

One chime and a 15° wedge kit are included with the two doorbell cameras; no extra accessories are required for basic installation.

Should I connect the doorbell to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi for the steadiest link?

The unit supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands; choose the band that provides the strongest signal at your mounting location.

How much sharper is the 5MP image compared with a standard 1080p doorbell?

The 5MP sensor delivers 2K+ resolution, which is at least twice as clear as 1080p, so faces and details are far easier to recognise.
