A replacement ATX power supply with reduced depth, delivering 280 watts continuous and 420 watts peak, plus 24-pin, 4-pin CPU, three SATA and multiple Molex connectors
This unit replaces Dell part numbers PW115, W8185, X8129, XK215, L305P-03 and PW114 in standard ATX cases. It fits proprietary Dell builds that need a shorter depth power supply. The grey ATX form factor slides into the existing mounting points without modification. It targets owners of older Dell, HP or Compaq systems needing a direct swap.
An 80 mm fan cools the unit while maintaining low ripple and noise during operation. Continuous output is rated at 280 watts with a peak of 420 watts across +3.3V, +5V, -5V, +12V1, +12V2, -12V and +5V-SB rails. AC input accepts 110/220V at 47-63Hz. Hold-up time is 17 ms minimum at nominal input and rise time stays under 70 ms.
Fixed cables provide a 24-pin (20+4) motherboard connector, one 4-pin CPU plug, three SATA 15-pin leads, two Molex 4-pin leads and one floppy 4-pin lead. The reduced depth of 5.86 inches increases case compatibility for tight chassis. Hi-Pot tested construction meets ROHS and CE standards for safety.

Slide the 5.86" deep chassis into the ATX bay, secure it with four screws, plug the 24 (20+4) pin motherboard connector and the 4-pin CPU connector; the 4-pin CPU plug is the step most builders forget.
The single 80 mm fan should be cleared of dust every six to twelve months using compressed air; if bearing noise appears the fan can be swapped for another 80 mm unit.
The continuous rating is 280 W, so sustained loads above that level will trigger protection before the 420 W peak figure is reached.
