420W ATX power supply with 20+4 pin motherboard connector, SATA, Molex and 12V ATX plugs, switchable 110V/220V input and 80mm cooling fan
This Replace Power unit is a 420W ATX supply built to fit HP Media Center models such as the m7250, m7250la, M7250N, m7434n, m7457c and m7463w. It serves owners who need a direct swap for a failed original unit. Builders working with standard ATX cases or non-HP motherboards should look elsewhere because the connector layout targets these specific chassis.
The bundle provides one SATA connector, a 20+4 pin motherboard plug, a dedicated 12V ATX lead, two large peripheral connectors and two short large peripheral connectors plus one small peripheral connector. An 110V/220V input selector lets the unit operate on either mains standard without extra configuration.
At 420W the supply handles typical office workloads, integrated graphics and a single mechanical drive with headroom to spare. It runs out of steam when a discrete graphics card or multiple drives are added, and the single 80mm fan cannot move enough air for sustained heavy loads.

The 80mm fan is the only moving part; dust buildup over time can reduce airflow, so periodic cleaning with compressed air is recommended to maintain cooling performance.
The 420W total output ceiling is the primary limit; sustained draws above this rating will trigger protection shutdown or voltage droop on the rails.
The 80mm fan moves enough air for 420W loads; expect moderate audible airflow and warm exhaust, typical for a single-fan ATX supply under continuous use.
