Replacement for Dell Optiplex GX520 GX620

This Replace Power ATX unit delivers 300W of steady power for Dell Optiplex GX520 and GX620 systems. It serves as a direct replacement for Liteon PS-6351-2 and related part numbers. The supply fits standard ATX mounting points in compatible chassis.

Connector set enables legacy and current drives

The bundle includes one 20+4-pin ATX connector, one 4-pin ATX12V connector, three peripheral connectors, one floppy drive connector and three SATA connectors. This mix supports older IDE devices alongside modern SATA storage without extra adapters.

Protections and single-fan cooling aid reliability

High efficiency and low ripple and noise output combine with over-voltage protection to guard connected components. A single fan handles thermal management in the standard ATX form factor. Builders needing more than 300W or different connector counts should consider other units.

Questions about this item

How often will the single fan inside the RPSU-PS-6351-2 need cleaning or replacement?

The unit uses one internal fan; dust it with compressed air every six to twelve months and replace the fan only if bearing noise appears.

What limit appears first when the 300W supply runs at full load for hours?

Sustained 300W output will hit thermal limits before voltage regulation drifts, so keep case airflow clear to avoid shutdown.

How loud and hot does the RPSU-PS-6351-2 get during all-day operation?

With one fan the supply runs warm but quiet; expect moderate heat exhaust and low acoustic noise under typical Dell Optiplex GX520 or GX620 workloads.
