Compact outdoor cord cover

This two-pack of Restmo O-ECC-2 covers shields outdoor plug connections from water, snow and dust. The IP44-rated enclosure uses rubber seals at both cable entries and four lockable latches to create a watertight space. It suits holiday lights, landscape lighting, pool pumps and garden tools.

No-tool setup with screw-in option

No installation is required; simply open the top lid, place the connection inside, fasten the cords with the dual cable clamps and snap the four latches shut. Two mounting holes and two cable ties are included for wall or overhead mounting. The compact 7.1 x 2.3 x 2.3 inch size stays light when hung.

Fits 18-14 AWG cords only

The cover accepts cords from 18 to 14 AWG, flat cable and braided wire. Connections using thicker gauge wire will not fit through the sealed entry ports. Buyers needing to protect larger-gauge outdoor wiring should choose a different enclosure.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Restmo O-ECC-2 cord cover is sealing correctly after I close it?

Close the top lid, snap all four lockable latches shut, and confirm the rubber seals at both entry ports compress tightly around the cords; the IP44 rating means the box is then protected against water splashes and dust.

What comes in the 2-pack and what must I supply myself?

The pack includes two almond-coloured housings, each with four lockable latches, two cable clamps, two mounting holes and two cable ties; you provide the extension cord (compatible with 18-14 AWG) and any mounting screws.

Which version should I choose if I need to protect a standard outdoor extension cord?

Choose the small 7.1×2.3×2.3 inch model (O-ECC-2) — it accepts 18-14 AWG cords and flat or braided wire, whereas the larger 11.4×4.3×3 inch and 12.5×8.5×5 inch versions are sized for bigger cables or multiple connections.
