Target builder and collector

This 1/24 scale Revell kit reproduces the 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Street Machine as a Level 4 project for adult hobbyists. Ninety-two parts moulded in white form two distinct build options labelled American Hero and Under Pressure. Paint and cement are required but not supplied in the box.

Assembly experience and detail depth

The kit demands sustained modelling skill rather than a quick snap-fit session. Chrome-plated small parts, soft black tires and a detailed interior with bucket seats plus roll bar reward careful finishing. A 327 cubic-inch V-8 with blower, straight tube front axle and ladder bars add mechanical realism under the hood.

Decisive spec — dual build choice

One box delivers two complete configurations so the builder chooses between the American Hero or Under Pressure theme before starting. This single decision sets the final character of the model and cannot be changed once assembly begins.

Questions about this item

Does the 1/24 scale kit generate any noise, heat or power draw once it is assembled and sitting on a shelf?

No, the finished model is a static display piece with no moving parts, electronics or power requirements.

What additional supplies must I already have to complete the 92-part kit?

You will need modelling paint and plastic cement, neither of which is included in the box.

Will the 327 c. i. V-8 engine and chrome parts fit alongside older Revell kits in the same 1/24 scale?

Yes, the kit is built to 1/24 scale so it matches other 1/24 models, and the engine, wheels and trim are designed for that scale.
