The kit requires paint and cement to complete the build. Officially licensed detailing ensures an authentic representation of the heavy-haul classic.

Step Up from Simpler Truck Builders

This Level 5 kit replaces entry-level snap-together models by demanding advanced modelling skills and patience. The jump is worth it when you want a museum-quality replica featuring a movable dump body, opening hood, and detailed CAT 3408 engine. Builders seeking a quick afternoon project should choose a less complex subject.

Sustained Assembly Over Multiple Sessions

The high part count and intricate sub-assemblies like the dual drive axles and 4-stage hydraulic cylinder encourage a paced building schedule. Chrome-plated parts and soft black vinyl tires add realistic texture that withstands handling after completion. The finished model measures approximately 13.25 inches long, 3.75 inches wide, and 5.5 inches high.
