Converts 2D video to multiple 3D formats for DLP-link projectors and 3D TVs up to 1080p resolution
The Revitol HDMI 2D-to-3D converter transforms standard two-dimensional video into stereoscopic 3D for compatible DLP projectors and 3D televisions. It accepts HDMI input and outputs several 3D formats including side-by-side, top-and-bottom, line-alternating and Blu-ray 3D. A supplied infrared remote selects the conversion mode and adjusts the depth effect in three steps. The unit ships with an EU power adapter.
Input and output use HDMI 1.3 and 1.4a with HDCP support. The processor up-converts 60 Hz sources to 120 Hz and can output 1080p at 60 Hz or 720p at 120 Hz. Accepted input resolutions include 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz frame rates. After conversion the output mode is fixed at 720p 60 Hz or 120 Hz depending on the connected display.
The converter only produces 720p 3D output, so a 1080p or 4K projector will not receive its native resolution in 3D mode. Buyers who need full-resolution 3D at 1080p or higher should look elsewhere. The EU plug suits continental European sockets; users in other regions will need a separate adapter.

The unit only outputs 720P at 60Hz or 120Hz, so no alternate version in this listing offers 1080P 3D output.
The converter scales 1080P 60Hz input down to 720P 120Hz for DLP-link 3D projectors, it does not pass 1080P at 120Hz.
Both ports are HDMI 1.3/1.4A, capping the signal at 1080P 60Hz input and 720P 120Hz output.
