Power Cable Extender for HP Servers

The Revitol HSTNS-PL33 cable extender connects a 1500W power supply to HP DL580 and DL560 G9 servers. It is built for administrators who need a reliable replacement link in a rack environment. The metal construction supports repeated mating cycles in dense chassis layouts.

Compatibility with Specific Part Numbers

This extender matches the 684529-001, 704604-001 and 684532-B21 power supply assemblies. Buyers must verify that their server uses one of these exact part numbers before ordering. It will not fit supplies carrying different HP part codes.

Tested Unit Shipped in Original Packaging

Each unit is tested by the supplier before dispatch and arrives in its original package. The pre-shipment check confirms electrical continuity across the connector. Buyers who require a brand-new, unopened item should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How does the 1500W rating translate when the extender is installed in a live server?

The extender passes the full 1500W capacity of the HSTNS-PL33 power supply to the DL580 or DL560 G9 backplane without adding resistance or voltage drop.

What connector standard does the HSTNS-PL33 extender use and what does that limit?

It uses the proprietary HP 1500W power-supply edge connector, which limits use to DL580 and DL560 G9 chassis that accept part numbers 684529-001, 704604-001 or 684532-B21.

What physical clearance does the metal extender need to fit inside the server?

The metal housing matches the standard HP 1500W supply form factor, so it occupies one power-supply bay and requires the normal rear-panel latch space in a DL580 or DL560 G9.
