Night-vision binoculars with 10x optical and 4x digital zoom, a 2.31-inch LCD screen, photo and video capture, IP56 water resistance and up to 300-metre infrared range
The Rexing B1 binoculars use infrared illumination to observe subjects in darkness at distances up to 300 metres. A 25 mm f/1.2 objective lens combines with 10x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom for detailed viewing. A built-in 2.31-inch LCD display expands through a convex lens to a 7-inch viewing experience. The unit captures 1 MP photos at 1280x960 pixels and 960p video at 30 fps.
Images and video are saved to a microSD card with a maximum capacity of 32 GB, which is not included. Battery life reaches 17 hours of daytime operation without infrared, but drops to 6 hours of continuous recording with IR active. The device requires six AA batteries, also not supplied. IP56 water resistance protects against splashes and dust but not submersion.
The 1-megapixel sensor sets the ceiling for still-image resolution at 1280x960 pixels and video at 960p. Buyers who need higher-resolution captures for evidence, publication or large prints will find this limit restrictive. The fixed sensor cannot be upgraded, so the B1 suits spotting and casual recording rather than professional documentation.

The 10x optical zoom uses the lens to magnify the subject, preserving detail, while the 4x digital zoom crops the sensor and reduces sharpness.
The built-in infrared illuminator lets you observe subjects in total darkness up to 300 meters away, with the 25mm f/1.2 lens gathering light for a visible image on the LCD.
IP56 means the housing is dust-protected and can withstand powerful water jets, so heavy rain or splashes are safe, but submersion is not.
