Outdoor antenna kit for Verizon Ellipsis Jetpack

This kit supplies a 9 dBi omni-directional antenna covering 690 to 2700 MHz along with 20 ft of 400-series low-loss coaxial cable. A lightning protection device and jumper cable are included for safe outdoor installation. A dedicated pigtail connects the Jetpack directly to the cable run.

Buyers improving a single LTE antenna port

The package addresses one antenna port only; users who want to boost both ports will need a second kit. It is not suited for devices that lack the specific MHS815L connection interface. Indoor-only setups requiring no lightning protection fall outside the intended use.

9 dBi gain across 690 to 2700 MHz

The antenna delivers 9 dBi gain over the 690 to 2700 MHz range to strengthen weak signals. Cable insertion loss stays below .8 dB at 698 MHz and 1.7 dB at 2700 MHz. This gain figure determines whether the kit can overcome the signal deficit at the installation site.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the pigtail to the Verizon Ellipsis Jetpack MHS815L antenna port?

Snap the PIGMHS815L pigtail onto the Jetpack's external antenna connector, then attach the 20 ft 400-series coaxial cable to the pigtail's other end.

Which parts will need replacement after outdoor exposure?

The lightning protection device (TW-LP-N-J-BHJ) is a sacrificial component that should be inspected after any strike and replaced if its gas tube has fired.

At what frequency does cable loss become highest on the 690-2700 MHz range?

Insertion loss reaches 1.7 dB at 2700 MHz, the top of the operating band, compared with 0.8 dB at 698 MHz.
