Kit for MiFi 6620 LTE router

The directional Yagi antenna kit is built for the Novatel Wireless MiFi 6620 mobile hotspot. It targets users who need stronger cellular reception at a fixed location such as a remote office, vehicle or rural building. The package includes the antenna, 50 ft of 400-series low-loss coaxial cable, a lightning protector, jumper cable and a dedicated pigtail for the MiFi 6620 port.

Accessories complete the signal path

The supplied pigtail connects the MiFi 6620 directly to the low-loss cable without extra adapters. A lightning protection device and a short jumper cable are included to safeguard equipment and join sections with minimal attenuation. All connectors are matched so the installer can assemble the link without hunting for additional parts. Ordering two kits allows both LTE antenna ports to be boosted simultaneously.

Limits of the 698–2700 MHz Yagi

The antenna covers 698 to 2700 MHz with 12 dBi gain, but it is directional and must be aimed at the target cell tower. Cable insertion loss is below 1.9 dB at 698 MHz and below 4 dB at 2700 MHz over the 50 ft run. Performance drops outside the stated band and the kit only addresses one antenna port unless a second kit is purchased.
