Purpose-built surveillance audio

The Rhino Patriot Pro 2-Wire Surveillance PTT Headset XP Pro is a wired headset designed for professional security and communication roles. Its two-wire configuration separates the push-to-talk controller from the acoustic tube earpiece for discreet, hands-free operation. The unit connects directly to compatible radios via a wired link, ensuring reliable audio transmission in demanding environments.

Wired connection constraints

Operation depends on a physical cable between the headset and the radio, which limits mobility to the tether length and requires a matching connector on the radio side. The push-to-talk module must be positioned where the user can reach it easily while the earpiece stays seated. Users needing wireless freedom or Bluetooth pairing should consider alternative solutions.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the Patriot Pro 2-wire version or a single-wire headset?

The Patriot Pro uses a 2-wire design with a separate push-to-talk module and acoustic tube earpiece, keeping the microphone off the collar and the earpiece discreet for covert or professional use.

What does the "XP Pro" label mean for daily radio use?

XP Pro indicates this headset is built for Sonim XP Pro handsets, using their proprietary connector and audio pinout so PTT, microphone and receive audio all function without adapters.
