UV Counterfeit Detector for Cash Handling

The RIBAO SLD-16 uses ultraviolet and white light to reveal security features on banknotes, credit cards and ID cards. It accepts all currencies and includes a built-in magnifier for close inspection. The unit is compact, portable and built for heavy-duty daily use.

Verify Power and Workspace Before Use

Confirm that a standard mains outlet is available at the point of sale or back office where the detector will sit. Ensure the flat surface has enough clear area for the device and for stacking notes during verification. No special mounting or data cabling is required.

Sustained Verification Without Overheating

The UV lamp is rated for three times the typical lamp life, supporting continuous operation through busy trading periods. The heavy-duty chassis dissipates heat so the unit maintains consistent detection accuracy during extended shifts. Portable design allows relocation between tills without cool-down delays.

Questions about this item

Does the RIBAO SLD-16 come with everything needed to start checking notes, or must I buy a UV lamp separately?

The unit includes a built-in UV lamp rated for three times the usual lifespan and a white-light source, plus an integrated magnifier. No extra lamp or accessory is required to begin verifying banknotes, credit cards or ID cards.

The model name includes "16" — does that indicate a specific version or capacity I should match to my cash volume?

The "16" in the product name is the model identifier for this compact detector. It is a single desktop unit designed for all currencies, not a capacity rating, so there are no alternative versions or sizes to choose between.

How does the UV lamp life claim translate to daily use at a busy till?

The lamp is engineered to last three times longer than standard UV tubes, reducing the frequency of replacements during continuous counterfeit checking of banknotes, credit cards and ID cards at the point of sale.
