Street-ready compact camera

The Ricoh GR IIIx Urban Edition is a point-and-shoot camera built around a 24.2MP APS-C size CMOS sensor and a fixed 40mmF2.8 GR lens. Its metallic gray body and navy blue ring cap are finished for photographers who work on city streets and want a discreet, pocketable tool. The GR ENGINE 6 processor pairs with an accelerator unit to reduce noise and enable 14-bit RAW output.

Distinctive finish and handling

The body uses repeated painting processes to create a smooth texture that still provides a secure grip during extended walks. A specially designed navy blue ring cap encircles the lens barrel, complementing the metallic gray colour. When powered off, the camera displays a unique street-themed graphic with a custom logo that reinforces its urban identity.

Optimised lens and new shooting modes

The optical system uses 7 elements in 5 groups with a 26.1mm focal length, delivering a 35mm equivalent field of view. Snap Distance Priority mode lets you pre-set focus distance and depth of field for near-instant capture, while Auto-area AF (Center) restricts focusing to nine central areas to avoid locking onto foreground clutter.
