40 mm stereo headset for PlayStation and PC

The RIG 400HS Arctic Camo uses 40 mm drivers to deliver detailed game audio with low-frequency emphasis and no added distortion. It is tuned for 3D spatial sound and works with Windows Sonic on PC and Sony Tempest 3D audio on consoles. A 3.5 mm connector provides universal compatibility with PS4, PS5, computers and mobile devices. The headset is brand new and ready for immediate use.

Built for comfort and durability.

The lightweight frame adjusts across three size settings to give a secure fit with optimal clamping force. A virtually unbreakable headband and detachable earcups are designed to separate under stress rather than snap. The removable noise-cancelling boom mic lets you switch between chat and solo play instantly. Buyers who want wireless connectivity, active noise cancellation or a USB digital connection should look elsewhere.

Plug straight into any 3.5 mm jack and play

The single 3.5 mm plug carries both audio and microphone signals, so no extra adapters or power are required. Inline controls put volume and mute within reach without opening software. The detachable microphone clears desk space when not in use and makes the headset easier to transport. This analog connection frees up USB ports for other peripherals while working on every platform that supports a standard headset jack.

Questions about this item

Does my PS5 controller have a 3.5 mm jack for the RIG 400HS headset?

Yes. The 3.5 mm connector plugs directly into the DualSense controller on PS5 and the DualShock 4 on PS4, so no extra adapter is needed.

Will the 40 mm drivers work with PS4 stereo output?

Yes. The 40 mm drivers deliver stereo sound on PS4 and PS5, and the headset is tuned for Sony Tempest 3D audio on PS5 while remaining fully compatible with standard PS4 output.

How do I confirm the removable boom mic is live?

Flip the mic down; the inline mute switch LED shows red when muted and off when active, and your PS5 or PS4 input meter will register your voice.
