Adds two NVME M.2 drives via a PCIe 4.0 slot, requiring motherboard bifurcation for both drives to be recognised
This RIITOP expansion card installs two M-key NVMe solid-state drives into a single PCIe slot. It requires a motherboard that supports PCIe bifurcation so each drive receives a full x4 electrical link. The board includes high-power DC modules for stable simultaneous operation. It is built for enthusiasts adding fast local storage to a desktop platform.
Builders whose motherboard firmware can split a x16 or x8 slot into x4/x4 lanes can run both drives at full speed. Windows 10 software RAID or third-party tools are needed for RAID 0 arrays; no hardware RAID controller is present. Boards lacking bifurcation will detect only one drive, making this card unsuitable for those platforms.
The single specification that decides compatibility is whether the target slot can be configured for x4/x4 lane splitting in the BIOS or UEFI. Without that capability the second M.2 socket remains invisible to the system. Verify the motherboard manual for bifurcation options before purchase.

The card includes high-power DC modules designed for stable operation with both NVME drives running at full speed simultaneously.
Built-in high-power DC modules supply each NVME drive continuously; the card itself has no active cooling, so case airflow must handle the drives' heat.
The motherboard must support PCIe bifurcation (x4/x4 or x4/x4/x4/x4) in the slot used, otherwise only one NVME drive will be detected.
