Connects an OCuLink eGPU or U.2/U.3 SSD to a laptop M.2 NVMe PCIe x4 slot via a 15cm flexible circuit board, supporting PCIe 4.0 x4 at up to 64Gbps, with a cut-to-length 22mm-wide adapter board
This RIITOP adapter converts an M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 socket into an OCuLink SFF-8612 port, enabling external GPU or U.2/U.3 SSD connections on laptops and mini PCs. A 15cm flexible circuit board links the M.2 plug to the OCuLink connector. The M.2 board measures 22x80mm and can be trimmed to 22x30mm, 22x42mm or 22x60mm to fit shorter slots. Data rates reach 64Gbps over PCIe 4.0 or 3.0 x4.
Verify your device has an M.2 NVMe PCIe x4 socket; PCIe x2 or SATA-based M.2 sockets will not work. Confirm the laptop or mini PC firmware allows PCIe expansion through that slot for eGPU use by consulting the manufacturer documentation. No OCuLink cable is included, so you must source an SFF-8611 4i cable separately — note that SFF-8611 exists in 4i and 8i versions. A screwdriver and fixing screw are supplied for installation.
The flexible 15cm circuit board lets you route the OCuLink port out of tight chassis openings without stressing the M.2 connector. Trimmable board lengths accommodate 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 slot depths, reducing the risk of protrusion. The SFF-8612 receptacle accepts standard OCuLink 4i cables for secure, latchable connections to eGPU docks or U.2/U.3 drive enclosures. No active components or power input are present on the adapter.
