Adds two USB-C and six USB-A 5 Gbps ports through a single PCIe slot, compatible with Windows XP through 11 and macOS 10.8.2 or later
This add-on card adds eight USB 3.0 ports to a desktop PC via a single PCI Express slot. It provides two USB-C and six USB-A connectors for keyboards, mice, external drives, webcams, printers and similar peripherals. The card is aimed at users who need more high-speed ports than their motherboard supplies.
Verify that your motherboard has a free PCI Express x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot before ordering. Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Server 2008 require the supplied driver disc or a download; Windows 10, 11 and macOS 10.8.2 or later work without extra drivers. Linux is also supported.
The card draws power solely from the PCI Express slot and needs no external power cable for typical devices. If you attach multiple high-consumption peripherals, the supplier notes that an independent power supply may be required. No active cooling is fitted, so the card runs silently in normal use.

The package contains the expansion card, a driver CD, and two mounting screws. No external power cable is included because the card draws power from the PCIe slot.
Both port types run at up to 5 Gbps. Use the two USB-C connectors for newer peripherals and the six USB-A connectors for existing cables and drives.
It sets the maximum interface speed. Real-world throughput will be lower and depends on the drive, cable, and system load.
