Rimwig 88-Key Piano Dust Cover Black 491022011

Designed for 88-key keyboards

This Rimwig dust cover is tailored for standard 88-key digital pianos and electronic keyboards. The black milk-silk fabric stretches over the instrument, while elastic bands along the bottom edge hold it securely in place. It shields the playing surface and controls from dust, pet hair, crumbs and everyday household debris. The lightweight cover folds away easily when the keyboard is in use.

Fits into a home or studio setup

No power supply, fasteners or tools are required; the elastic hem simply wraps around the keyboard’s existing profile. Because the material is not water resistant, the cover should not be relied on for spill protection or outdoor use. It frees the owner from frequent dusting and helps keep key mechanisms clean between sessions. The fold-flat design stores in a drawer or gig bag without adding bulk.

Behaviour under sustained load

During long periods of non-use the breathable milk-silk fabric continues to block airborne particles without trapping moisture against the keys. The elastic bands retain their tension so the cover stays aligned even if the keyboard is bumped or moved slightly. Surface stains wipe off the smooth fabric with a dry cloth, maintaining a neat appearance over months of daily coverage. The cover is not intended for protection against liquid exposure or heavy impact.
