Built-in eero Wi-Fi 6 router

The Ring Alarm Pro Base Station combines a security hub with a built-in eero Wi-Fi 6 router. It covers up to 1,500 sq. ft. of wireless coverage for compatible devices. The system is designed for homeowners who want integrated alarm monitoring and mesh networking in a single unit. Setup is managed through the Ring and eero apps for DIY installation.

900 mbps wifi speeds and subscription features

The router delivers wifi speeds up to 900 mbps across the coverage area. 24/7 Backup Internet activates only with an active Ring Protect Pro subscription, sold separately. Professional monitoring for the alarm system also requires that same separate subscription. Without the plan, the backup cellular connection and monitoring services remain inactive.

Internal battery backup and expandable coverage

An internal battery provides temporary power during outages to keep the base station online. Additional runtime is available using Ring Power Packs, sold separately. Wifi coverage can be extended further with eero 6 Extenders, also sold separately. The unit replaces an existing Alarm Base Station to add Wi-Fi 6 connectivity to the security system.
