Two-Pack Contact Sensors for Ring Alarm

These sensors monitor doors and windows when paired with a Ring Alarm or Ring Alarm Pro base station. Each unit is white and measures 2.09 in X 1.12 in X .55 in. The kit includes two CR2032 batteries so you can start right away.

Suits owners of a Ring Alarm system needing extra

Renters or buyers without a Ring base station cannot use these sensors because they require that hub to function. Households wanting motion detection or glass-break sensing should look at different devices.

Maximum magnet gap is 1 inch

The sensor and its magnet must stay within this distance to register a closed state. A half-inch clearance on the non-magnet side is needed to reach the battery compartment for future changes.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 2-pack and do I need anything else to make them work?

The pack includes two white contact sensors and four CR2032 batteries. A Ring Alarm or Ring Alarm Pro base station is required and sold separately.

Should I choose the 2-pack or buy single sensors for more doors?

The 2-pack covers two entry points with identical sensors. Add extra single sensors if you have more than two doors or windows to monitor.

What does the 1 inch magnet gap mean when the sensor is mounted on my door?

The sensor and magnet must sit within 1 inch of each other when the door is closed. Leave half an inch on the non-magnet side to reach the battery compartment.
