Leather Impact Gloves – Cut Level A5
RINGERS GLOVES 665-12 gloves are leather drivers built for impact and cut protection on the palm side. They meet ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 Cut Level A5 and ANSI/ISEA 138 Impact Level 1, plus CE EN 388. Sold as a pair in size 2XL with a hook-and-loop cuff.
ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5
The palm-side Cut Level A5 rating is the single figure that tells you whether these gloves match the laceration hazard you face. If your task demands a higher or lower cut rating, or requires cut resistance on the back of the hand, this model will not satisfy the requirement.
Uncoated Leather with Wing Thumb
The full-leather, uncoated finish preserves natural grip and abrasion resistance while the wing thumb increases range of motion. Nylon stitching holds up to 212 °F. No insulation is included, so the gloves are not suited for cold environments.

Questions about this item
What does the ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5 rating mean when I am handling sharp metal or glass on the job?
The A5 rating confirms the palm-side leather resists high cut forces under the ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 test method, so it protects against the sharp edges found in metal fabrication, glass handling and similar tasks.
How does the ANSI/ISEA 138 Impact Level 1 rating limit the force transmitted to my knuckles and fingers?
Level 1 means the back-of-hand padding keeps peak impact force below the threshold set by ANSI/ISEA 138, reducing bruising from light hammer strikes or pinch points without adding bulk.
Will the hook-and-loop cuff stay secure on a 2XL hand when I am reaching into tight engine bays?
The adjustable hook-and-loop closure wraps around the wrist on the 2XL pattern, letting you snug the glove down so it will not slide off during overhead or confined-space work.
