RITE IN THE RAIN 37R Refill

The RITE IN THE RAIN 37R is a ballpoint pen refill delivering black ink through a fine point. It fits compatible RITE IN THE RAIN pens used for field notes, survey work, or outdoor journals. The cartridge is sold new and ready for immediate installation.

Ballpoint Practical Limits

Ballpoint ink requires pressure to start flow and can skip on wet or coated surfaces. The fine point deposits less ink per stroke, so writing on damp paper may need slower, deliberate strokes. Extreme cold thickens the oil-based formula, reducing reliability until the cartridge warms.

Upgrade From Standard Refills

This cartridge replaces generic ballpoint refills that smear or fail when paper gets wet. The jump is worth it for users who write in rain, humidity, or marine environments where standard ink bleeds or washes away. It does not suit rollerball or fountain pen users who prefer liquid ink flow.
