Binder 7200 for field notes

The RITE IN THE RAIN 7200 ring binder holds 5-5/8 by 7-1/2 inch sheets that stay soft and resist tearing when wet. It suits surveyors, loggers and outdoor workers who need records to survive rain, mud or sweat. The ring mechanism keeps pages secure while allowing quick removal or reordering in the field. No sheets are included with the binder.

Capacity limited to loose-leaf format

The binder accepts only the stated sheet size and has no built-in pockets or covers for odd-format documents. Users who need to store full-size A4 or letter pages, bulky reports or electronic devices will find it unsuitable. It also lacks a zipper or strap, so contents can spill if the rings open accidentally. Buyers needing waterproof paper must purchase compatible refills separately.

Questions about this item

Will the 7200 binder accept the 5-5/8" x 7-1/2" loose-leaf pages I already own?

Yes, the 7200 is sized for 5-5/8" x 7-1/2" sheets, so your existing pages will fit the ring mechanism.

How can I confirm the 7200 binder is ready for field use once I load it?

Open and close the rings several times; they should snap shut fully aligned. Load a few pages, then flex the cover — the sheets stay secured and the paper remains soft without tearing.
