Full-size 107-key layout

The ROCCAT Vulcan 122 is a full-size mechanical gaming keyboard with 107 keys in a white and silver colour scheme. It uses Titan Brown tactile switches with a 1.8mm actuation point and 3.6mm travel distance. Per-key AIMO RGB lighting provides 16.8 million colour options across the transparent switch housing. A detachable palm rest and anodized aluminum top plate complete the package.

USB interface and desk space

This keyboard connects via a standard USB interface, so an available port is required. The full-size layout with a numeric keypad demands sufficient desk width for comfortable placement. The low-profile design and detachable wrist rest should be evaluated against your preferred typing angle and available surface area before purchase.

Aluminum plate and switch design

The anodized aluminum top plate adds structural rigidity and helps dissipate heat during extended sessions. Titan Brown switches feature reduced wobble housing and components that minimise electrical contact bounce for faster signal recognition. The ultra-light key caps, 50% lighter than standard, contribute to a responsive feel without excessive noise.

Questions about this item

Does the Vulcan 122 come with a wrist rest or do I need to buy one separately?

A detachable palm rest is included in the box, so no separate purchase is required.

Should I choose the Titan Brown switches or a linear option for a mix of typing and gaming?

The Titan Brown switches are tactile with a 1.8mm actuation point and 3.6mm travel, giving a noticeable bump without a loud click.

How does the 1.8mm actuation point feel during fast gameplay compared to standard switches?

The shorter 1.8mm actuation lets the firmware register keystrokes 20% faster, while the 50% lighter key caps reduce finger fatigue.
